Our Foundation

At White Bx Project Group, we are guided by a clear conviction: artificial intelligence must be trustworthy. Achieving this requires public and private organizations to develop AI systems grounded in three essential pillars: technical robustness, ethical implementation, and regulatory compliance.

The challenge lies in fostering innovation while mitigating adverse impacts on individuals, human dignity and fundamental rights, the environment, and the rule of law.

To address this challenge, we integrate expertise from Engineering, Philosophy, and Law within a transdisciplinary methodology designed to safeguard AI systems—and, consequently, the business models that depend on them.

In the classrooms of Universidad Panamericana, as a result of our founder’s doctoral research, an academic inquiry began into the different types of artificial intelligence and the impacts associated with its use. This research led to the development of early methodological frameworks for conducting algorithmic audits grounded in Engineering, Ethics, and Law.

White Bx Project, S.A.P.I. de C.V. was formally established as the first company in Latin America with a corporate purpose specifically designed to provide:

1. Advisory services for the responsible use of AI, big data, cloud computing, machine learning, and deep learning.
2. AI systems certification from an ethical and regulatory compliance perspective.
3. Algorithmic audit services.
4. Academic and executive education programs.
5. Research and exploration in quantum computing.

We launched the first edition of our Digital Literacy Program for the Responsible Use of Data and Artificial Intelligence, pioneering the professional training of AI supervisors, or Chief Artificial Intelligence Officers (CAIO).

This initiative positioned White Bx Project Group as the first organization in Latin America specialized in delivering this type of institutional AI governance training.

The White Box Project Institute, A.C. was established to advance the academic, research, and institutional dimensions of trustworthy artificial intelligence. Its objectives include:

• The development and promotion of academic and research initiatives related to AI and emerging technologies.
• The delivery of courses, workshops, and the publication of educational materials focused on AI.
• Institutional collaboration with governments and non-governmental organizations seeking to train experts in the deployment and oversight of AI systems.
• The design of specialized curricula and academic programs in AI leading to officially recognized degrees or certifications.
• Editorial and research activities aimed at promoting trustworthy AI.

The White Box Project Institute was recognized as one of the organizations advancing AI governance in Mexico (State of AI in Mexico, July 2025, Government of Mexico).

This recognition —together with the growing demand for structured governance and risk management models— led to the consolidation of White Bx Project Group as an integrated platform for advisory, certification, training, and institutional AI governance services.

Mexico’s Ministry of Economy formally recognized The White Box Project Institute as one of the organizations participating in the “Hecho en México” program.
