The White Box Project Institute
Digital Literacy Program for the Responsible Use of Data and Artificial Intelligence
Digital literacy is the ability to understand, evaluate, and critically use information technologies in order to learn, work, and actively participate in society. In Latin America, this competency is essential for reducing opportunity gaps, strengthening the knowledge economy, and promoting the responsible use of artificial intelligence (AI).
Our Digital Literacy Program is structured around four strategic pillars::
1. Academic Training
Through our courses—most notably FOCIA, a specialized program designed to train AI compliance officers—along with additional educational offerings focused on artificial intelligence.
2. Research Projects
Initiatives aimed at generating applied knowledge and anticipating emerging risks associated with AI and digital technologies.
3. Outreach and Knowledge-Sharing Events
Events designed to disseminate best practices and emerging trends in the responsible use of artificial intelligence.
4. Specialized Publications
Publications that contribute to the creation and dissemination of knowledge relevant to the Latin American region.
